Spirit Communication at Macaulay Battery in Esquimalt / Victoria B.C. (ghost box session)

This video contains sections of a ghost box session that was conducted at Macaulay Earthworks Battery in Esquimalt / Victoria B.C., during July of 2013.

There are many direct, quick, and intelligent responses during this session.  However, one name in particular that was mentioned piqued my curiosity.  It was meaningless until I actually researched it online.  Once I saw the name over and over in Victoria's military history it couldn't be dismissed as a random voice coming from a radio station, as many skeptics assert.

"Major James Peters" was a prominent Canadian officer during a large portion of the battery's history, in which he would've overseen day to day operations there.  It stands to reason that his voice being mentioned isn't mere coincidence, but more consistent with a two way conversation; one party being anxious to communicate after not being heard by the physical realm, for possibly a long time.

These types of historic responses that can be directly tied to a locations past are the "gold standard" for ghost box responses.  It lends absolute credence to the voice actually coming from an intelligent consciousness, that is actively responding to us in real time.  It's far less likely in my opinion that we are simply misinterpreting a voice coming from a radio station.  If it's a coincidence, the odds are astronomical that we were at that specific location, at that specific moment, to receive that specific content.

I already know what I believe.  It's not a question in my mind, but I endeavour to find convincing proof to help nudge those that may still be on the fence when it comes to the "unexplained".

How Do You Get More Views on YouTube?

Posted above is my "exciting" YouTube trailer for my paranormal channel "Solo Ghost Hunter".  Around YouTube I noticed other members doing a similar thing, creating mini trailers or commercials promoting their own channels.  I thought I'd give it a try and I'm pretty happy with how it came out.  I linked my videos that are having the most success thus far to it to try to entice viewers to visit my channel and subscribe, or to at least view one of my other videos.

It's been slow going over the past four years as far as attracting new subscribers.  From doing my own research I know that the paranormal genre isn't the best one to get into for total views and a huge subscriber base, but it's the most most rewarding for me.

I'm doing real work here, trying to answer questions I've had since I was a child and that I know everyone else has had.  Somewhere along the way people forget, become disinterested, or completely close-minded due to upbringing or religion.  That's another discussion all together, but my point is that most other channels whip something up quickly for their viewers to consume and digest and find that their viewers become demanding and are hungry for more the very next day.  The people that may be interested in the paranormal on YouTube aren't spending most of their time looking for content like mine.  For the most part they want empty calories and don't want to be challenged or actually have to think.  I can't simply sit in front of a web cam and spit out a piece of crap in five minutes.  I have to spend hours upon hours of analysing data before I can even get into the editing and marketing phase of my videos.

If you're not one of the "fast food zombies" and are reading this, or have even seen one of my videos I applaud you and not because you're watching my content, but because you're thinking and looking for answers beyond what the status quo has laid out for us.  I didn't intend for this blog post to become my philosophical point of view, but I suppose this has just been sitting latent below the surface for a while.  If you've read this I hope I've helped you in some way.  If not, then just go watch one of my videos you zombie, and make sure you hit the subscribe button on the way out. :)

Clear Ghost Box Responses at Ross Bay Cemetery

On Saturday, January 19th, 2013, two friends and I conducted a paranormal investigation at Ross Bay cemetery in Victoria B.C.  This video contains footage taken while investigating between 2300 and 0030 hours.  We used various ghost hunting tools throughout the night, such as, an EMF detector, a K2 meter, a PSB7 ghost box, a digital audio recorder, a phantom light and a full spectrum camera.

As you will see in the video, shortly after beginning the ghost box session we began getting immediate and accurate responses.  The answers were very specific, personal and clear.  Usually responses are a little more cryptic and much more patience is required.

I'm extremely pleased with the results of the investigation and that Chris and Stephan were able to experience true evidence on their very first time out.

"Mkay" EVP

I discovered this EVP when I analysed audio I recorded from a ghost box session.  You can clearly hear "Mkay" in a breathy male voice without any amplification.  It was an intelligent response to me saying okay while I was setting up the session.  The voice can be heard over the static from the sweeping, not in it.  It was a spirit speaking directly into the digital audio recorder in my car.  Another piece of evidence that corroborates the voice is the fact that my K2 meter lit up around the same time it was captured.  It was placed right beside the recorder.

A Kind Hello from Grampa

The following video contains disembodied voices that were captured on a spirit box, model P-SB7.
I recorded the audio used in this video at a friends house last weekend.  There was fifteen minutes of data to analyze, but I only used a few voices in the video.  Most of them were inconclusive, but the ones I did find are pretty convincing.  There is one voice in particular that immediately answers one of the questions asked.

We held the spirit box session on the second floor of our friends house while other guests participated in a get together downstairs.  There were three of us, the two others being my wife and a friend.

The previous owner of the house died very young from a brain tumor.  The current owner of the house actually knew of the man, and by complete coincidence also owns his old car.  We were hoping we would hear from him, but a lot of the voices were hard to understand.

My wife only asked two questions and got an immediate response to her first question.  She simply asked if her grandfather was present.  Play the video below to hear for yourself.

Cemetery Rent a Cop

It was January 29, 2012 at approximately 12:30 am when a cemetery rent a cop strolled up to my car door with flashlight in hand.  I was trying to capture disembodied voices on my digital audio recorder during a ghost box session.  As the light got brighter, I realised the security guard had indeed stopped for the sole purpose of investigating my presence within the cemetery grounds.  I preemptively rolled my window down, attempting to prevent him from tapping on it.  I squinted and strained to focus on him as he still had the beam aimed straight at me.

I began the inevitable conversation by saying hello, with the intention of showing the guard that my business there was harmless.  He returned the greeting and then proceeded to ascertain why I was there.  I told him I was simply taking a rest from driving and that I was also talking to my wife on the phone.  He said that it wasn't a problem and that he just had to check.  He went on to explain how in the past few days teenagers had been there partying and being loud.  I told him I was getting ready to pull out anyway.  That was okay with him and he told me to have a good night.  He walked back to his vehicle and drove away, exiting the cemetery.

I put my gear away and fastened my seat belt.  I drove home, anxious to begin analyzing my recently recovered data.  The following video is the finished product.
